The body of a farmer was found lying in the field on Tuesday night in Bhojapura police station area of Bareilly. There is a deep wound on his head. Seeing the condition of the dead body, the family members have expressed suspicion of murder by shooting. However, initial investigation by the police has not confirmed the bullet injury.

In Bhojapura police station area of Bareilly on Tuesday night, the dead body of an elderly man who had come out of the house saying that he wanted to irrigate his fields, was found soaked in blood in the field. The body was covered with leaves. There is a deep wound on the head. There is suspicion of murder by shooting. On information, the police sent the body for post-mortem. The family has denied any enmity.

After the death of 65-year-old Bihari Lal, resident of village Bhola Manpur of Bhojipura police station area, his son Naresh Babu gave information at the postmortem house. He told that on Tuesday night the father had gone out asking to water the fields. When he did not reach home, he started searching around. When seen in the field on the bank of the river, his body was soaked in blood and there was a bullet wound on the head. The body was covered with leaves.
